Muslims past & now

As we all know, Islam never spread from sword but because Sahaba (R.A.) acted as role models and excellent human beings as guided by our Holy Prophet(sallal lahu alyhi wasallam). People were astounded how can someone be so modest, good, helpful and pure. They were surprised why Sahabas abstained from evil and always strived to do good. Thus, they were impressed by Islam because they saw the true Islam in our Holy Prophet(Sallal lahu alaihi wasallam) and his followers.

Today, Muslims all over the world are cursed, demeaned and looked down upon because most of us are not up to the standards of our deen. Most of us do not try to know Allah, His powers and His mercy and anger. Most of us do not pray. Most of us do not abstain from backbiting, slandering and obscenity. Most of us do not try to study hard and reach good positions where they can implement Islam and help the needy. And those who pray mostly do out of ritual or habit and still think that they done enough.

Friends, Let us all unite together in goodness and create a world where people look at Muslims and are impressed. Let us promise ourselves that we will pray our namaz, work hard to earn a halal livelihood, refrain from backbiting, obscenity and indecency, help each other and exert to be good in character, manner, intentions and actions.
Let us all show the world, what really Islam is.
Not just a religion but a way of life and a way to be good and an way to be succesful, here and hereafter.

Departing of the Soul

It is said that when the angel of death is taking the rooh (soul) out ofthe body whom passes away....it is a painful experience. They say that when the dead awake on Qayaamat, the effect of the roohbeing taken out will still be there. Therefore, ALLAH has told us torecite the Ayatul Kursi after any Farz salaat and it is stated thatwhoever recites this, their rooh will be taken out as you would take outa strand of hair from a pile of flour. How light would that feel,MashaAllah! May Allah save us from any sort of pain and may He let us die with Imaanin our hearts and save us from the azaab. There is no word as beautiful as AllahNo example as beautiful as Rasulallah (SAW)No lesson as beautiful as IslamNo song as melodious as AzanNo charity as meaningful as Zakat No encyclopedia as perfect as Al QuranNo exercise as perfect as NamazNo diet as perfect as fastingNo journey as perfect as HajjLet's realize that Islam is for ever beautiful and perfect, pleaseforward this message to get the sawaab of passing on knowledge. This is most common among us..... Most of us talk during Azan...Readthis mail..The Holy Prophet (SAW) said, Stop doing everything during the Azaan, even reading the Quran, the person who talks during the Azaan will notbe able to say the Kalima AShahada on his/her death bed.... Please passthis message to Muslims...READ THIS DUAA FOR BETTER LIFEAllahumma-inni-ala-Zikr-ika-wa Shuk-rika wa husni-ibad-atika.

Walking of Sayyidina Rasoolullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam

Hazrat Abu Hurairah radiyallahu anhu says, "I did not see anyone more handsome as Rasoolullah sallallahu alaihe wasallam. It was as if the brightness of the sun had shone from his auspicious face. I did not see anyone walk faster than him, as if the earth folded for him. A few moments ago he would be here, and then there. We found it difficult to keep pace when we walked with him, and he walked at his normal pace."
Ebrahim bin Muhammad says: "When 'Ali Radiyallahu 'Anhu described Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam, he used to say: Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam walked, he lifted his leg with vigour. He did not drag his feet on the ground like women do. When he walked, because of the speed and force of the legs, it seemed as if he was descending from a high place".
Ali bin Abi Taalib Radiyallahu 'Anhu' says: "When Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam walked he bent slightly forward as if he was descending from a high place".

Hadith on Sabr-Shukr

The Holy Prophet (SAAW) explained "The affair of the believer is amazing. The whole of his life is beneficial, and that is only in the case of the believer. When good times come to him, he is thankful and it is good for him, and when bad times befall him, he is patient and it is also good for him."
